A moire pattern generator you can drag around. Two layers of lines, dots, circles or radial spokes sit on the same canvas, and where they overlap they produce big shifting fringes out of nothing but simple repeating shapes.
Drag either layer to move it, set the rotation, spacing and scale, and watch the fringes swim and collapse as you go. It is the same effect behind screen-door shimmer, moire on fabric, and the fine line patterns printed on banknotes to defeat photocopiers.
Switch to the color palette for a print misregistration look, turn on auto-drift to let the layers wander by themselves, or randomize for a surprise. Save any frame you like the look of.
